Eucalyptus Oil (eucalyptus globulus)
Eucalyptus oil helps to clear the mind and focus concentration, while reducing swelling in the mucus membranes. It is very valuable in fighting respiratory problems, fighting inflammation and sore muscles, rheumatism, headaches and nervous exhaustion, while boosting wound and ulcer healing and soothing skin eruptions. Eucalyptus is also very useful as an air disinfectant. Burning the oil helps to purify the air in sickrooms. Ginger oil is extracted from the plant Zingiberaceae officinale of the Zingiberaceae family. The oil is extracted by distillation from the unpeeled or dried, ground - up rhizome (root) of the plant. Oil can vary in color from pale yellow to a darker amber color and the viscosity also ranges from medium to watery.
Uses : Ginger oil is well suited to help ease colds and flu, nausea, motion sickness, morning sickness, muscle aches and pains, as well as poor circulation and arthritic pain. Juniper berry oil (juniperus communis)
 
Juniper oil is a very valuable oil and can be used in cases of nervous tension and anxiety, for the urinary tract, for over-eating and obesity, for eliminating uric acid and for skin care. The affinity to the urino-genital tract was further shown when studies revealed that it enhances glomerular filtration, thereby causing the excretion of more amounts of potassium, sodium and chlorine - especially helpful when the prostate gland is enlarged.
 
Lavender Oil (lavendula angustifolia)
 
Lavender oil is one of the most versatile oils and is handy to have around the house, as it can be used for such a variety of problems. It not only helps with nervous conditions, it is useful for the digestive system, the espiratory tract and skin problems, it also helps with muscle aches and pains and arthritis and rheumatism. Lemon grass (cymbopogan flexuosus)
 

Lemongrass oil is extracted from the plant Cymbopogon flexuosus of the Poaceae family. Oil is produced from the fresh or partly dried
leaves by steam distillation.
Uses : It is a fresh smelling oil that can be used with success for fighting jet lag, cellulite, revitalizing a tired body and mind, as well as keeping the family pet free of fleas and ticks. It also is used for clearing up oily skin and acne, as well as athlete's foot.

 
Lemon oil (citrus limonum )
 
Lemon oil can be very beneficial to the circulatory system and aids with blood flow, reducing blood pressure and helping with nosebleeds. It can help bring down fever, helps relieve throat infections, bronchitis, asthma and flu. It boosts the immune system and cleanses the body, improves the functions of the digestive system, and it is helpful with constipation, dyspepsia and cellulite. Lemon oil soothes and relieves headaches and migraines and is helpful for rheumatism and arthritis. It is also used for clearing acne, cleaning greasy skin and hair, as well as removing dead skin cells, easing painful cold sores, mouth ulcers, herpes and insect bites.
 
Mace Oil (Myristica fragrans )
 

Mace oil is extracted from the plant Myristica fragrans of myristicaceae family. The Oils is distilled by dried arillus of the fruit of nutmeg. Mace & Nutmeg have similar taste qualities, nutmeg having a slightly sweeter and mace a more delicate flavor.
Uses : Both Mace and Nutmeg help digestion in stomachic weakness, but if used to excess may cause over-excitement.A flavouring agent, stimulant and tonic. The oil has shown good anti - inflammatory action, and is also successful in relieving pain, especially muscular aches and pain, as well as rheumatism.

 
Marjoram oil (origanum marjorana)
 
This oil has value when used for asthma and other respiratory complaints and has a calming action on emotions. It helps hyperactive people calm down while boosting circulation. It soothes the digestive system and helps with cramps, indigestion, constipation and flatulence and has a beneficial action on colds, sinusitis, bronchitis and asthma. As a general relaxant, marjoram oil is used for headaches, migraines and insomnia and although it can diminish sexual desire, it is great for treating delayed, painful or scanty monthly periods as well as menstrual cramps
 
Nutmeg Oil (myristica fragrans)
 

Nutmeg oil is also extracted from Myristica fragrans of the myristicaceae family and the oil is distilled from the dried seeds. The oil is
colourless or light yellow and smells and tastes of nutmeg.
Uses :This warming spicy essential oil is used in aroma therapy to fight inflammations and muscle as well as rheumatic pain, while assisting the digestive system and supporting the reproductive system, and at the same time stimulating and invigorating the mind.
