Our Establishment commenced the production of Essential
oils in 1995 with 10 years experience behind us. A box of
Essential oils under the brand name of Lakroma, containing
12 various essential oils produced in Sri Lanka is introduced to
the market for the first time by us. This is a precious and
a memorial gift / souvenir from a Sri Lankan to a foreigner.Further, we import more than 50 varieties of Essential oils from
our reputed suppliers and are supplied to Spas and leading
shops in Sri Lanka.In addition to this, we supply these oils to the export market in bulk
quantities.

Not all ready-made aromatherapy products labeled with the word “aromatherapy” are pure and natural. Products that contain artificial ingredients do not provide true aroma therapy benefits. They provide no benefits at all. True Essential Oils contain the true essence of the plant it was derived from. Essential Oils are highly concentrated and a little goes a long way. |

Aromatherapy
is reputed to be at least 6000 years old and is believed
to have been practised by most of the world’s ancient
civilisations. Early man lived closely with his surroundings
and was in tune with nature. His sense of smell was highly
acute and herbs and aromatics were commonly used in the
preservation of food, as aids to digestion or to treat a
variety of ailments. Since the late 1970 and early 80’s
the use of essential oils and aromatherapy has become a
major part of alternative and holistic health systems, and
has a huge following across the world. The word “Aromatherapy”
comes from two words *Aroma” meaning fragrance and
“Therapy” meaning treatment. It is healing art
based in nature and it effects the whole person mind, body
and spirt. Aromatherapy uses pure Essential oils to balance
the equilibrium and to improve mental and physical health.
Many common ailments may be treated and prevented simply,
safely and successfully.

Essential
oils are the natural oils distilled (Most frequently by
steam or water) from a variety of plant parts, such as the
flowers, leaves, wood, bark, roots, twigs and resin. The
method of extraction depends on the part of the plant from
which the oil is being taken and is a highly specialized

Carrier
oils also referred to as base oils or vegetable oils are
used to dilute essential oils, Co2s (carbon dioxide method)
and absolutes before applying to the skin. They carry the
essential oil onto the skin. Different carrier oils offer
different properties and the choice of carrier oil can depend
on the therapeutic benefit being sought

One of the best all-around natural oils that is a liquid wax ester. Mixes naturally with our skin’s
fluids because it contains large quantities of an ester almost identical human sebum, the skin’s
natural restorative fluid. Contains anti-oxidants, minerals and vitamins, including vitamin E. Helps
make skin soft and silky, and is excellent for inflamed skin, acne, dandruff, eczema and psoriasis.
Excellent for hair care and reputed to be a natural wrinkle remover. Acts as an emollient and humectant.
It retains skin moisture and does not block the skin’s natural functions while performing is own. Good for
Massage, jojoba by itself will not stain linens. It does not turn rancid and extends the shelf life of blended oils.
Jojoba Oil has excellent moisturizing properties and is used as a base or carrier oil in Aromatherapy |
